The latest Telfar frenzy is surprisingly not associated with the most recent drop of purses. In Brooklyn, Beyoncé caused a buzz on Wednesday after sporting her all-white Telfar purse during her lunch date with husband Jay-Z.

The Black is King singer shared photos to Instagram of her complete fit of a white tied-up button-down shirt and vibrant floral wide-leg pants from fashion designer Christopher John Rogers. The iconic photo of Queen Bey and her Telfar sparked a conversation on Twitter for those wondering if the Telfar price will increase.

Twitter user @itskeyon said, "Tryna get a Telfar bag is like the hunger games at this point."

The highly coveted faux leather bags were already difficult to purchase, and customers now fear that it may be impossible to achieve their collection of the Black-owned brand due to price increases and resales. However, after trending on Twitter for a majority of Thursday, Telfar quickly cleared up that rumor by sharing a post on their social media. "Price not changing,” said a post on the brand’s Instagram story, followed by bumblebee emojis, in reference to Queen Bey. "Not for you — for everyone."

Now that fans are feeling a bit more relaxed after Telfar’s statement, they can prepare for the next drop on Tuesday, July 13, at 9 a.m. EST for the newly released lavender bags in sizes small, medium and large.
