The microphone Cardi B reportedly threw at a concert audience member is up for auction on eBay. According to PEOPLE, the current owner of the microphone, Scott Fisher, claims that it’s the same one Cardi B used during a recent concert where the now well-known incident occurred. How did he get the microphone? Fisher owns the audio company that supplied the mic for the concert.

Video taken during Cardi B’s performance at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas, shows the rapper hurled the mic at an audience member who splashed liquid on her while she was on stage. In a Facebook post, Fisher revealed that he decided to auction off the mic after several people suggested it.

“I own the mic that Cardi B was nice enough to tomahawk at somebody that splashed some liquid on her a few days ago,” Fisher shared. “After some encouragement from people, I decided to auction it off with 100% of the profit being split evenly amongst two charities. One is a local charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The other is Wounded Warrior Project.”

Friendship Circle Las Vegas aids children, teens, and young adults with special needs and their families. Wounded Warrior Project is a charity that supports injured service members.

According to the eBay listing, the microphone is a Shure Axient Digital Mic, identifiable as Cardi B’s because of the white tape at the bottom labeled “Main.”

“We provided more than one microphone for this particular show and verified with the in-house crew which one was specifically used by Cardi for the show. It was pretty easy to identify, though, as her mic was marked ‘main,” the listing reads.

Currently, the bids for the mic have reached over $30,000. Bidding ends August 8.

Cardi B’s Microphone Throwing Incident

The incident occurred while Cardi B performed her hit “Bodak Yellow”. A video of the incident shows the Grammy-winning rapper, dressed in orange, shocked as a drink splashes on her. She responded by hurling her microphone at the audience member and yelling. Her security quickly swooped in and removed the concertgoer who threw the water.

However, at some point during the performance, Cardi B’s DJ encouraged the crowd to throw water at the rapper.

“Give me some water,” she told the DJ, who then told the crowd, “Give her some water.”

For now, the timeline is unclear on whether the DJ asked the crowd to do so before or after the incident. The rapper is now a suspect for battery following incident.
