Singer Normani has signed with new management and confirms that new music is on its way. According to a report from Rolling Stone, Normani will now be managed by Brandon Creed and Lydia Asrat. Asrat manages Coco Jones, Doja Cat and others. The “Motivation” singer is said to have parted ways with her former manager Brandon Silverstein under the management company, S10 Entertainment.

New Music Arriving

Alongside joining Creed and Asrat’s management companies, the former Fifth Harmony member is also poised to release new music. In a statement released to Rolling Stone through a representative, Normani shared that she wishes her former manager well.

“With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership,” her rep said on her behalf.

Silverstein also shared his thoughts on the new development, saying that “Change is good.” Under Silverstein, Normani didn’t release a full-length project.

Fans of Normani have been clamoring for new music. She has released a string of singles since going solo, including 2021’s “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B. In late June, Normani, while starring in a Bose ad, revealed that both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer. In the ad, she also previewed an unreleased song “Candy Paint” and talked about music forming a bond between her and her family.

“[When my mom was going through chemo] the thing that really kept her going was getting on FaceTime and being like, ‘How are the sessions going?’ She’s always so eager to hear the new records we’ve been working on. And then a year later when my dad ended up being diagnosed, he would say mid-treatment, ‘I’m ready for you to take over the world,” she said.

And while speaking with Billboard, she promised that her upcoming work will encapsulate her truest selves.
