Rappers YG and Saweetie are enjoying a romantic trip together. The two were recently photographed in Cabo cozying up in a pool. Dating rumors have been swirling since March when the two were spotted at Coachella and at a restaurant together.
In the latest images from their getaway, Saweetie and YG are seen spending time in a pool or hot tub. In one image YG appears to give Saweetie a kiss on her cheek.
Previous Relationships
Both Saweetie and YG have been in public relationships with other celebrities in the past. Saweetie dated rapper Quavo for three years until their messy and public break up in 2021. The relationship ended after an elevator altercation video leaked. Saweetie implied the rapper cheated during their relationship with tweets that said she’d endured “betrayal” and “hurt.” During Saweetie’s episode on “Caresha Please” with Yung Miami, she provided details on why her relationship ended with Quavo. However, Saweetie admitted that she thought the two had something special.
“I thought we was gonna spend the rest of our lives together,” she said. “With him, I knew it was the one. It was different.”
YG was previously linked to singer Kehlani. They dated in 2019. The relationship didn’t last long with the two ending their romance at the beginning of 2020. There were also accusations of cheating. Kehlani opened up to “The Breakfast Club” about her experiences dating YG. She explained how they weren’t on the same page after seeing things on his phone.
Saweetie has spoken out about what she is looking for in her next partner.
“I know what I want now,” Saweetie said. “I want someone to mentally stimulate me… It’s really important. This journey that I’ve been going on, I’ve been meditating, I’ve experienced, like, the higher version of myself through meditation, and it’s just given me a lot of like, clarity [into] what I want and don’t want.”
