HGTV is looking to fill a void in the roster and, lucky for us, Tamera Mowry-Housley has announced that her family will be taking that slot! Tamera took the news to her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Wednesday, writing:
"Big news!! 'The Housleys' are coming to @hgtv in May! As you guys know, I absolutely love everything about interior design. I'm grateful my husband loves it as well. We are so excited because we just renovated a home for a family of 6 who needed a more functional kitchen and an outdoor makeover to make the most of the perfect Napa climate. Stay tuned for air date and time of #TheHousleys on @hgtv."
While the air date and time has not been set yet, HGTV did confirm to PEOPLE that the premiere episode will air sometime in May. Mowry-Housley, a mom of two, will be starring alongside her husband, Adam, and their children Aden and Ariah, who are 5 and 2 years old.
This exciting news isn’t the first TV news that Tamera has been involved with this year – her twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardict recently shared with PEOPLE that they’re trying to get a reboot of their 90's sitcom, Sister Sister.
"It's all about timing, so we’ll see," Tia said in an interview with PEOPLE.
