Ava DuVernay’s ARRAY Crew has announced its newest initiative with Impact Crew to create the number one global hiring resource for the entertainment industry.
Impact Crew is a professional network for the industry. It was founded by Oscar-winning duo, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. ARRAY Crew is a subdivision of DuVerynay’s Array production company, which is a searchable database of below-the-line talent. She launched it in 2021 to diversify film and TV productions. The goal was to connect women, people of color and other underrepresented workers with entertainment executives.
ARRAY Crew has connected more than 11,000 verified industry professionals with over 900 films, television shows, commercials, and video projects. Impact Crew has sourced more than 700 available crew for 58 major productions such as Mission Impossible 8, The Color Purple, and National Treasure.

“Ava has been leading the way when it comes to increasing diversity and inclusion behind the camera,” Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Impact CEO Tyler Mitchell said in a joint statement. “Joining forces with Ava and the larger ARRAY team enables us to continue to advance how talented people in the entertainment community get hired, and find the resources and opportunities necessary to succeed.”
Impact and ARRAY Crew’s combined user base of 40,000 verified industry professionals will have free access to a network of 1.2 million people in the industry. They will also have access to extensive career-building resources, networking opportunities, production tools and more.
DuVernay and ARRAY President Tilane Jones shared a joint statement as well, detailing their excitement to work with Impact Crew on this groundbreaking initiative.
